Introduction
If you want to cancel your vessel registration, you can do this at a Service NSW Centre, or by mail or email.
Note: Refunds on registration payments may be available in certain circumstances.
What you need
- a written request to cancel your registration
- the Request for Refund (Maritime) – PDF (if applicable)
- your proof of identity.
How to submit
- Download and complete the Request for Refund (Maritime) – PDF (if applicable).
- Gather the required documentation.
- Visit a service centre and submit your application in person, or mail/email it using the details on the form.
