Report a vessel or engine as stolen

Introduction

If your vessel or vessel's engine has been stolen, you can report the theft online or by calling the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.

You also need to notify Transport for NSW by calling 13 77 88 or visiting a Service NSW Centre.

What you need

• Police Event number
• vessel or engine details (if available)
• written notification that the vessel or engine is stolen
• your proof of identity.
