Introduction
If your motor vehicle repairer licence expired less than 3 months ago, you can restore your licence online.
What you need
- your licence number
- your renewal number (as shown on your renewal notice), or your full personal details
- your fee payment.
How to restore
- Select the 'Restore online' button.
- Follow the prompts to restore your licence.
Note: If you do not want to restore your licence online, you can call NSW Fair Trading on 13 32 20 to request a paper form to complete.
More information
- Your licence is considered to have been renewed from the day it expired.
- If your licence has been expired for more than 3 months, you’ll need to apply for a new licence.
- Your motor vehicle repair business must not trade until it has a valid licence.
