Introduction
If your property has been intentionally damaged, destroyed or graffitied, you can complete a police report online.
Eligibility
You can report intentional damage or graffiti online, unless:
- the damage is caused by a traffic crash or fire, or an attempt to gain entry to a premises (call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444)
- the incident is an emergency or happening now (call Triple Zero (000) immediately).
Note: Normal wear and tear or accidents are not considered intentional damage.
What you need
- a description of the damaged property, including the location, the owner's contact details, the estimated value of the damage, and the date and time of the incident (if known)
- photos of the damaged property (if available).
How to report
- Select the ‘Report online’ button.
- Follow the prompts to submit your online police report.
After you submit your report:
- you can track it and receive electronic status updates
- you’ll receive a NSW Police Force Event number for insurance purposes (if applicable).
