If the fuel price at a service station does not match the price you see on the FuelCheck online tool, you should let the service station operator know about the price mismatch
If this does not resolve the issue, or you’re not satisfied with their response, you can:
- submit a complaint through the NSW Fair Trading website.
- report a price mismatch on FuelCheck.
You'll need:
- name and address of the service station
- evidence of the price mismatch, such as a photo of service centre signage or receipt (maximum size 10MB)
- your contact details and preferred time of contact.
Fair Trading will review each complaint and depending on the circumstances, the service station may be fined.
