Renew a native animal keeper licence

Introduction

To keep native mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians as pets, you need a native animal keeper licence granted under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016.

Eligibility

After you receive a renewal notice in the mail, you can renew and pay for the licence online.

What you need

• your licence number
• your renewal number (as shown on your renewal notice), or your full personal details
• your payment.

How to renew

1. Gather the required information.
2. Select the 'Renew online' button.
3. Follow the prompts to renew your native animal keeper licence.
