Introduction
If your vehicle is seasonally registered, and you want to renew the registration for a first or second quarter (3 months) or a half-year (6 months) term, you can do so at a Service NSW Centre.
Your existing inspection report can be used to cover quarterly or half-yearly additional registration periods as long as those periods are within 12 months of the report's date.
If the report has expired you'll need a new inspection, either:
- a safety inspection report for light vehicles
- a Heavy Vehicle Inspection Scheme (HVIS) inspection for heavy vehicles (over 4.5 tonnes).
What you need
- your proof of identity
- your concession details (if applicable)
- if not already submitted electronically to Transport for NSW:
- the relevant inspection report (if applicable)
- your compulsory third party (CTP) insurance (green slip) for the required registration term.
- if you are not the first or second registered operator, a completed Replacement Application – PDF appointing you as the authorised representative.
