SuperStream is the way all employers are required to pay contributions and send information to super funds.
With SuperStream, you pay the super contributions for your employees via electronic funds transfer or BPAY® and send the associated data electronically. The data is in a standard format so it can be transmitted consistently between employers, super funds, service providers and the ATO. It's linked to the payment by a unique payment reference number.
The SuperStream system means:
- you can use one online channel to pay multiple funds
- there is less room for error when you enter the data as there are fewer steps
- the transactions reach the funds faster.
