Introduction

If you’re involved in a civil case in the NSW Supreme, District or Local Court, you can securely access the courts' electronic registry with a NSW Online Registry account. 

You can use your account to: 

  • track the progress of your case
  • submit and download court documents and forms
  • search for case details, information and documents
  • publish probate notices
  • request copies of court sealed documents, including judgements and orders 
  • find details of proceedings
  • search court listings and appearances.

Eligibility

You must be a party involved in a case, or an authorised representative, to create an account and access court case information.

What you need

  • your personal and contact details
  • 2-4 proof of identity documents, such as driver licence, passport, Medicare card or birth certificate (not a commemorative birth certificate)
  • your user type, such as solicitor, self-represented individual or business owner
  • your practising certificate number (if applicable).

How to register

  1. Check the eligibility requirements.
  2. Gather your supporting documents.
  3. Select the ‘Register online’ button.
  4. Follow the prompts to create an account.

More information

  • You may not be able to file all types of court documents or forms online, for example, if you're a real estate agent, strata manager or onsite property manager. You'll be able to file these documents in person or by post.
