Check a charitable fundraising licence

Introduction

If you'd like to check if an organisation is authorised to fundraise for charitable purposes in NSW, or search for your own charitable fundraising licence and details, you can do so online.

What you need

Any one of the following:

• licensee name
• licence number
• Australian Business Number (ABN)
• Australian Company Number (ACN)
• location (suburb, postcode and local government area).

How to check

1. Select the 'Check online' button.
2. Enter the information you have into the search bar.
3. Select the search icon.

Authorised fundraisers in NSW must deal with complaints from members of the public or disputes with employees about fundraising activities. To resolve a dispute with a fundraiser, your first step should be to approach the fundraiser directly.
