Check a retailer identification number (RIN)

Introduction

Businesses that sell e-cigarettes, tobacco or non-tobacco smoking products must have a valid retailer identification number (RIN). 

If you need to check a RIN or search for your own number, you can do so online.

What you need

Any one of the following:

• name of business or organisation
• retailer identification number
• Australian Business Number (ABN)
• Australian Company Number (ACN).

How to check

1. Select the 'Check online' button.
2. Enter the information you have into the search bar.
3. Select the search icon.
