Change an organisation's name, address or contact details with Transport for NSW

Introduction

If an organisation’s name, address, phone number or email address has changed, the details will need to be updated on the relevant:

• vehicle registrations
• vessel registrations
• commercial mooring licences.

What you need

• your proof of identity, such as driver licence
• a letter on the organisation's letterhead that is signed by a director, secretary, president or chairperson of the organisation, authorising you as the organisation's representative
• if changing the organisation’s name, a Certificate of Registration on Change of Name from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)
• one of the following PDF forms:
  • vessel registrations and commercial mooring licences – Change of Records – Maritime Products Only
  • vehicle and maritime products – Change of Records – Road and Maritime Products.

How to change

1. Download and complete the relevant PDF form:
   • Change of Records – Maritime Products Only
   • Change of Records – Road and Maritime Products.
2. Gather the required documents.
3. Submit your documents at a Service NSW Centre.

Note: For maritime products, you can submit changes to your address and contact details by email.
