Liquor & Gaming NSW administers the regulatory framework for liquor, gambling, casinos, wagering, lotteries and registered clubs in NSW.
If you want to extend the trading hours of your small bar past the standard trading hours (10am to 12am daily), you'll need to apply for an extended trading authorisation (ETA).
ETA applications are made through Liquor & Gaming NSW.
You can apply for an ETA when applying for the small bar licence or after the licence is approved.
You can apply to extend your trading hours:
- temporarily
- permanently
- to different times on different days of the week.
Applications for an extended trading authorisation to trade beyond midnight (or 2am for small bars) require a Statement of Risks and Potential Effects (SoRPE).
For further details and how to apply go to Liquor & Gaming NSW: Small bar licence.
