Introduction
A registered club must have an approved secretary (who's also the Chief Executive Officer).
If you have the necessary authorisation, you can apply for approval from Liquor & Gaming NSW, online.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you need to:
- be aged 18 or older
- have Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
- have Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) qualification (if the club operates gaming machines)
- have completed the mandatory training course Board Governance, the Company Secretary and the General Manager.
What you need
- liquor licence name and number of the club
- your personal and contact details
- your past employment history details as a club secretary or liquor licensed approved manager
- your RSA and ARCG competency card number and details, or copies of the RSA and ARCG certificates
- National Police Check certificate issued within the last 3 months
- copies of the 3 identity documents you used to apply for the National Police Check.
How to apply
- Select the 'Apply online' button.
- Select 'Start'.
- Enter your liquor licence number (including the letters) and your name.
- Select 'Next'.
- Complete the online form.
- Upload the required documentation.
