Introduction
If you hold a real estate agent and/or a stock and station agent licence (Class 1 or Class 2), you may be able to apply for auctioneer accreditation.
Eligibility
To be eligible you must:
- hold a real estate agent and/or stock and station agent licence (class 1 or class 2)
- have completed the appropriate units from the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), such as TAFE.
What you need
- the PDF form – 'Application for accreditation as an auctioneer'
- your licence number and expiry date
- statement of attainment or evidence of your qualifications for the type of accreditation you're seeking
- your payment.
How to apply
- Check the eligibility requirements.
- Select the 'Download PDF form' button.
- Complete the form.
- Make sure you have all the required documentation.
- Lodge your application with payment at a Service NSW Centre, or email it to the details on the form.
More information
The following agents are not eligible:
- class 1 or class 2 agents who have a business agent restriction or an on-site residential property manager restriction as a condition of their licence
- assistant real estate and stock and station agents
Note: Assistant stock and station agents can auction livestock if they are employed and directly supervised by a licensed stock and station agent.
