The NSW Law Reform Commission is an independent statutory body constituted under the Law Reform Commission Act 1967 (NSW).
The Commission reviews areas of law referred to it by the NSW Attorney-General and considers suggestions for law reform from other people and organisations.
The Commission does not offer legal advice or provide legal information and cannot intervene in individual matters.
NSW residents may seek free legal information, advice and referral from Legal Aid NSW.
