About the NICC

The NSW Independent Casino Commission (NICC) is a statutory authority created under the Casino Control Act 1992. The NICC was set up to address the risks and harms arising from casino operations through increased regulatory oversight.

The NICC will rebuild public trust in the NSW casino industry through visible and robust supervision.

The NICC is funded by the Casino Supervisory Levy paid by both casinos and employs its own administrative staff, maintaining independent decision-making on licensing and disciplinary matters in casinos.

To report a breach contact the NICC.
