Service NSW, in partnership with Revenue NSW, is collecting your personal information to enable you to link your MyServiceNSW Account to the RNSW Land Tax portal.
Service NSW gives priority to protecting the privacy of your personal information. We do this by handling personal information in a responsible manner and in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998.
Why are we collecting your personal information?
Service NSW is collecting your personal information for the following purposes:
- providing you with access to and management of, land tax
- establishing or maintaining records in your MyServiceNSW Account, and
- other directly related purposes.
What personal information do we collect?
Service NSW may collect the following personal information:
- name
- date of birth
- contact details such as email address, phone number and residential address.
Service NSW will only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide you with the required services and assistance.
How will we use and disclose this information?
Service NSW may use your personal information to:
- contact you, or Revenue NSW, to request/verify/confirm the information you provide in relation to your land tax
- collect, maintain and use information about you for our internal administrative purposes, including for the purpose of our interactions with you.
Service NSW may disclose the information in your application to:
- Revenue NSW, to enable to you to access the Land Tax portal
- NSW Police, if Service NSW reasonably suspects a case of fraud or other criminal activity.
Service NSW may share de-identified information for research and statistical purposes in accordance with the Data Sharing (Government Sector) Act 2015.
Service NSW will not disclose your personal information to anyone else unless you provide your consent, or we are required or authorised to do so by law.
Service NSW will take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure or other misuse.
Are you required by law to provide us with this information?
Providing us with the requested information is not required by law. However, if you choose not to provide us with the requested information, we may not be able to provide you with access to manage your land tax through your MyServiceNSW Account.

You have a legal right to access and update your personal information. To access or amend your personal information, please contact us at 13 77 88.
