Kangaroo Service
Service NSW is committed to supporting Aboriginal communities in rural and remote locations and improving access to NSW Government services and transactions.
A dedicated Mobile Service Centre route will commence from June 2024. The Kangaroo Service will visit Aboriginal community locations over a 10-week loop.
We’ve partnered with other NSW Government agencies, such as Revenue NSW and Births, Deaths & Marriages, to provide a wide range of services and make it easier for Aboriginal communities to interact with Government.
A Service NSW Business Concierge will also be available to provide local businesses with personalised guidance on starting a business, licences and applications, connecting with independent business advice, and more.
Disaster-affected communities
Our Mobile Service Centres visit disaster-affected communities and can help you replace lost or damaged documents (such as birth or marriage certificates, driver licences, photo cards, and Fair Trading licences and permits) free of charge.
We can also help you access a range of government support services and initiatives.
If you need emergency assistance such as food, water or shelter, contact the Disaster Welfare Assistance Line on 1800 018 444.
