Small Business Guides: Mentally Healthy Workplaces 

Mental health experts at Ahead for Business have created Small Business Guides to Mentally Healthy Workplaces.  

There is a guide for each of the 3 pillars of the Blueprint for Mentally Healthy Workplaces: protect, respond and promote. The guides offer small businesses information about key topics, clear examples, helpful tips and links to further support and guidance to help create mentally healthy workplaces. 

Mental health resources for small business owners

Small businesses and family enterprises can find resources, tools and tips to manage the stress and challenges of running a business from the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman.

NewAccess for Small Business Owners

This free, confidential mental health coaching program by Beyond Blue is designed for small business owners, including sole traders. Sessions are available via phone or video call from NewAccess for Small Business Owners.

Rural Financial Counselling Service

Free, confidential and individual support to regional small businesses that are experiencing – or at risk of – financial hardship is offered by the the Rural Financial Counselling Service.
